BlogWorld and New Media Expo, I'm speaking
I'm going to be speaking at BlogWorld and New Media Expo in Vegas, September 20-21. My presentation is "Conversations Create Clients: How to turn strangers into friends and friends into
enemies customers."
I'm on the bleeding edge track, which is cool. I've never considered myself as "bleedging edge." (Bad to the bone, yes; bleeding edge, no.)
If you're unfamiliar with BlogWorld, it's like Disney World, only better. First, it's in Vegas and, well, that's kind of Disney for adults. The conference is geared toward anyone who participates in blogging, podcasting and social media at any level, whether "amateur" or "professional."
If you're going to BlogWorld, I hope you'll take a few minutes to get acquainted. I'd love to meet you. Other than my speaking gig Sunday afternoon, you'll likely find me in the IBNMA booth in (or near) the Expo hall.
Be sure and check out the conference schedule. The most knowledgeable people in blogging, podcasting and new media are speaking, over 130 in all. Folks like Dave Taylor, Steve Rubel and the effervescent Gary Vaynerchuk are keynoting. I mean, can it get any better than that?! It's like being in blogger heaven.
One real treat is that I get to see several of my business blogging colleagues I have met in person and will meet for the first time a number of others. Plus, I get to see some of my friends who inhabit the RE.net space. They're having their own version of BlogWorld on Friday.
All in all, this is going to be a wonderful time and I must give credit to Rick Calvert, the man who founded BWE. He's an affable guy, a true visionary, and one who knows how to put words into deeds. I'm privileged to consider him my friend and fellow IBNMA board member. (He founded that too, btw.)
So, I hope to see you in Vegas. I'll be the one with bells on.
