Paying homage to my site sponsor, Bizzuka

Bizzuka logo

It's not the purview of this blog to talk about the company I serve as marketing director, Bizzuka, and rarely will you ever find it mentioned here. However, John Munsell, Bizzuka's CEO, has agreed to sponsor the site and, as such, it's only fair that I pay homage with this single post.

Bizzuka is a Web design and development company based in Lafayette, LA, square in the heart of Cajun country. (Otherwise known as a great place to live!) We've built our own proprietary Web content management system, OnDeCC, that not only makes maintaining a site something very easy to do, but which can grow with the business over time.

We're constantly adding new components to our architecture and currently have over 120 ranging from directories and contacts to calendaring and scheduling to ecommerce to search engine optimization.

We target the SME market and provide a highly functional, extensible software platform at a fraction of the cost of other companies. We like to say Bizzuka provides Fortune 500 functionality at a price small businesses can afford.

Aside from the platform, our Web design team does fantastic work, second to none in my estimation. And we are constantly praised by clients for providing an exceptional level of customer service. Personally, I think if Bizzuka has a purple cow, it's that.

If you're interested in learning more, take a guided tour or request a demo of the system.

We also offer a reseller program for ad agencies and marketing consultants, and currently partner with a number of such agencies at present.

A word about Bizzuka's sponsorship

Let me conclude this post by saying that Bizzuka's sponsorship involves no money changing hands. I'm paid plenty well for the services I render, so no such arrangement is necessary.  Sponsorship in this case is an acknowledgment by Bizzuka that Conversational Media Marketing has virtue and that the company is willing to stand behind what I have to say. (And I am very grateful that John & Co. feel this way.)

Even greater, it is acknowledgment that blogging, the Web 2.0 and conversational media is a key direction in which the company intends to head in 2008.
