My wife Amie, home stager... and blogger
Anyone that knows me can tell anyone who doesn't that one of the driving passions of my life is to evangelize and teach about how to use blogs and conversational media as a marketing tool. It is my distinct privilege, therefore, to announce that I've successfully converted my beloved spouse, Amie, to join the blogosphere.
She's blogging over at Active Rain, the preeminent real estate social network. And, even though Amie has just started, she's already the 2nd highest-ranking member in our local parish (that's Louisianan for "county"). The #1 spot goes to....well...to me.
Even though I no longer blog there, during my days with real estate technology firm Blogging Systems I managed to rack up quite a few points during my stint. (But, enough about me.)
Amie is taking my advice and using her blog and email newsletter as a digital "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" by repurposing content posted to the newsletter and using it on the blog. (And vice-versa, for that matter.)
It's my hope that she will see new business come as the end result of participation here, if not from the Lafayette market specifically, then from around south Louisiana. Neither of us have time to do this just for the fun of it.
At any rate, I'm happy to pronounce Amie and Paul as not only happily married, but happily married bloggers as well.
