Twitter explained 'in plain english'

Yesterday, I got a new phone. I told the young sales clerk that I wanted something with a camera, that could play MP3s, access the Internet, etc. I also indicated that texting is a function the phone would need to easily serve, as I use Twitter a lot.

When I mentioned Twitter the clerk gave me a curious look. I asked, "You've never heard of Twitter?" (I was surprised because she couldn't have been over 25 years old.) She said no.

For those of you who, like this young lady, have never heard of Twitter, or who don't understand its appeal, here's a short video that more than adequately explains. It's from the guy who made the "In Plain English" series of videos, Lee Lefever.
